About us

Trusted by Heroes

Trusted by Heroes is the commercial training and technology initiative behind the Chamber Business Readiness Program. We are veteran owned and run, with our work shaped by experience in military service, business, training, public service and support for veterans and first responders.

We build practical education around the realities of a changing workplace: artificial intelligence, critical thinking, human oversight, decision responsibility and the ability of people to support one another.

Our approach is deliberately practical. Technology can assist the work, but people remain responsible for decisions, consequences and the people beside them.

The mission

Red Friday Talks

At the heart of our wider work is Red Friday Talks, a peer-support initiative serving veterans, first responders, serving members and the people who stand beside them.

The mission is straightforward: make useful peer-support education available before someone reaches a crisis. Stronger communities begin when ordinary people know how to recognize when someone may be struggling, how to start a conversation, how to listen, and when to help connect that person with additional support.

Red Friday peer-support education is provided as a community service.

The revenue arm

Why Trusted by Heroes exists

Trusted by Heroes provides the revenue-generating side of that mission.

Through workplace education, AI readiness, critical-thinking programs, human-oversight training and related governance tools, we work with businesses, associations and community organizations that want practical solutions for a rapidly changing workplace.

Commercial revenue helps us continue developing useful training, technology and community resources while supporting the broader Red Friday mission.

The principle behind the work

Train the person. Strengthen judgment. Preserve human responsibility.

1

Service

Our work begins with service to people and communities, particularly veterans, first responders and the organizations that support them.

2

Human responsibility

AI, software and procedures can assist decisions. They should not erase the human responsibility to question, verify, escalate and act.

3

Practical education

Training should change what someone does at the point of decision, not simply add another certificate to a file.

A note from the founder

Why we built this.

I have spent much of my working life around service, business, training and invention. One lesson keeps returning: systems matter, but people still have to think, question, verify and look after the person beside them.

Trusted by Heroes was created to turn that principle into practical training and tools for the modern workplace, while helping sustain the Red Friday Talks peer-support mission for veterans, first responders and their communities.

For a Chamber, the goal is simple: give members something genuinely useful, easy to introduce and worthwhile to keep.

How we train

NATO SAT-informed instructional discipline.

Our programs are designed around performance gaps, clear outcomes, structured learning, realistic practice, assessment and evaluation for improvement. We describe the method as NATO SAT-informed because NATO standardizes a Systems Approach to Training; we do not claim NATO approval, sponsorship or accreditation.

How we preserve evidence

GovernSeal connects training to governance.

Verifiable certificates, policy versions, acknowledgements, human-oversight events, corrective actions and evidence packets are designed to help organizations demonstrate reasonable governance efforts in an evolving regulatory and liability environment.

Why we work with Chambers

Local business networks are where practical education can have immediate reach.

Chambers support employers, strengthen local business networks and help members prepare for change. The Business Readiness Program gives a Chamber a practical way to provide AI Workplace Readiness, Distributed Human-in-the-Loop Foundations and Critical Thinking education under a co-branded local member benefit.

The objective is larger than selling courses. It is to make useful education accessible, help businesses prepare for the changing workplace and build a sustainable model that also supports service to veterans, first responders and their communities.

A Trusted by Heroes initiative

Veteran owned. Veteran run.

Commercial training and technology supporting a wider mission of peer support, practical education and stronger human judgment.
